Government and recruiting officers have been following the principles of government from time to time . Order No. 1827: 80 EAG308 Date: 16-05-1921 The Government for the first time designated the Recruitment Center as the “Central Recruitment Board”. This board was in the 1940’s with the office of the Ministry of Government . Government Order No. 3685-3735- CB 103-39-1 Date: 19-01-1940 On the appointed commissioners of the Public Service.

 The Lokasewa Commission was created under the provisions of the Constitution of India on 18-05-1951 . Public Service Commission of n terms of the 1950 ‘s in clause 14 of the type , 18-05-1951 from the Public Service Commission staff, the Commissioner of the staff of the center for advanced lokaseva.

The Office of the Central Recruitment Board, which is part of the Mysore (now Karnataka) Government Ministry, has followed the Government Ministry Manual for office procedures. The Office of the Public Service Commissioner and later the Office of the Public Service Commission continued to make necessary notifications for the conduct and conduct of competitive examinations , departmental examinations etc.

Mysore Public Service Commission for 1950 and the provisions of Clause III in accordance with , Mr. HB Gundappa Gowda, President , Mr. George mathan and Mr. HM Mallikarjunappa was appointed as a member of the Commission . He took office on May 19, 23 and 25 , 1951 . Since then , 13 chairman and 67 members have been appointed to the commission by the government .  

The office of the Public Service Commission was located in Bangalore City on 20-05-1951 . Due to the lack of facilities for the Commission’s real needs, its office was moved to ” Balbrooi ” on Palace Road , Bangalore on 21 April 1951 and remained there until November 7 , 1956 . It was later a part of the “Attarakachary” High Court Building and continued till January 1968. It is located in the north-west Karnataka ” Relocated to the current premises of the Park House ”.

The Commission on 01-03-2002 on his “Golden Jubilee” celebrated and the Commission for the new building was laid in the foundation. The building was inaugurated on 19-11-2005 and is currently functioning in a new building called ” Udyog Soodha ” .

After 60 years of service, the Commission celebrated the “Diamond Jubilee” on 18-05-2011 . The foundation was laid to construct another new building called the ” Vajra Mahotsav Saudha ” in the office premises to cater to the growing need to commemorate this celebration and to serve the people in general more effectively .
